Was in Tesco's tonight and they had Technika wireless keyboard and mouse for €7.99. Thought it was a misprice as the technika wired keyboard was reduced to €9.99 but it scanned at the till for €7.99. It even comes with batteries :). Not sure if its all Tesco's but they had plenty of stock in the Ashbourne one.

I got this (i presume) a while back, i even had a bargain alert about it.

Its ok, I went back using the keyboard last week after i forgot the bluetooth dongle for my fancy keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is really noisy and often misses buttons you press. I havent used the mouse in a while.

Like its fine for some things, like it works with the Ps3 and i would certainly feel its adequate for that, It also works with XBMC on an original xbox if you hook it up with an adapter, but i would not buy it for my main pc.

At €7.99 you cant go too far wrong I suppose

Bluetooth I presume? Would the bluetooth adapter supplied connect to the kb and mouse only, or can it connect to every device that uses bluetooth?

Any estimate on how long batteries last? Wondering if its worth buying an expensive kb and mouse that doesn't chew through the batteries.

Thanks for this alert, will certainly check it out. As for the batteries, I have a HP kb and mouse that are wireless and they dont go through batteries for about 6 months and we have them in the offices as well so the work is 8 hours every day done on them. As for replacing the batteries, the rechargeables are a great investment.

Went in there, price tag said €21 and it scanned as €21.
I'd say they must have been trying to shift stock because there was only 1 in sligo.
Or maybe everyone else got in before me :p

Aww crap.... now how do I kindly tell the woman behind the counter that she and the scanner is wrong? :D
Then again again I did get it scanned at the counter in the cloths section, the proper one was dealing with shipments

Went in 2 hours later and the one remaing set got bought... meh

Bring it back, and because you were charged the wrong price, you get a full refund and get the item free. Hope you kept the receipt!

Nah, that rule was changed a LONG time ago (I guess because they F'ed up so much it cost them a fortune!), last time I got double the difference between charged price and actual price back.

got this price checked in tesco clearwater yesterday and it scanned at 21 euro. mentioned to the assistant that it was retailing at 7.99 euro in ashbourne. she said this to her supervisor and her reply was that different stores sell off stock but not all stores would be selling the same stock at the cheaper price. always thought that prices would be the same in all stores.

I would have thought that the price would be the same too. It must be to do with the location and other factors effecting the towns population and interests.
