Well done Tipp and Sligo

No Tipp have not won the NHL division 1 they have won the National FOOTBALL League division 3. Sligo have won division 4. Congrats to both. Tipp have an old football heritage but have been asleep in this code, apart from producing an amazing player in Declan Browne. I still think they are ahead of Tyrone and most Ulster counties in terms of all Irelands won, only Cavan and Todays opponents Down have more I think.

Sligo have produced many great players but are always in Mayo's and Galway's shadow. 3 Connacht titles but today they have a rare national title. Well done.

Yep well done to Tipp, I always like to see them do well in football for some reason. Big achievement to beat a northern team in a final like that.
Fair play to Sligo too, even though they played a part in messing up my accumulator!

Congrats to the Tipp lads, they'll give Kerry a right go for the Munster title this year I think.

Didn't Tipp come within a few minutes of winning a Munster final a few years ago? Or was that Limerick?

Either way, great achievements. Back to back promotions and all that.

Yeah Tipp and Cork had a replay

I am sure that Orizo will tell you that Cork were lucky and that Tipp should have hammered them ;)

Yes, strong rumours abound that those hideous Corkonians bribed the referee to make sure they won, despite the vastly superior skills and abilities of the Tipperary lads. Simply another case of Cork dragging the perfect and noble organisation of GAA through the gutter.

No doubt, if Cork, by some miracle, manage to face those Tipperary mini-gods in the Munster Championship this year, it will be a massacre similar to Galliopli, such brutality towards the men of Cork will be shown that would make Cromwell and the Black and Tans blush.;)

Bad form from the Monaghan men, letting those boys in red win the game, setting them up for a fall come championship no doubt. Fierce cunning up north as usual.

Jaysus you are getting to sound like a few KerrymenI used to work with. I used to fall for it then,
Fact is Cork were good and solid all over the pitch. Best Cork team since early 90s? This is a team that will do damage this year. Should have won by more.

Well done to Tipp and Sligo although with the latter you would expect them to have been competing in Division 3 this year but Tipp are making big strides in the football like my own county Dublin in the hurling.

However,I still think come championship that Tipperary will struggle in Munster against Cork or Kerry and are ahead of Waterford,Limerick and Clare now.

Now just think,Tipp are playing a level higher than the likes of Fermanagh and Wexford.:D:D:D:eek::eek:

Still think it will be a Munster Football Final between Limerick and Cork.

Tipp have improved So much over the last 2yrs it has shocked me but you have to say fair play they are putting the work in and it is paying off.

No chance of Limerick getting to the final I'd say.Even if they manage to overcome Tipp which I seriously doubt they wouldn't be able to get past the mighty men of Clare.

Munster Final this year Clare v Kerry.

Well Declan you called it right about Limerick beating Tipp.

They still have to overcome the formidable challenge of Clare though so ye are not in the final yet.:)
