    Anyone spot the Google car in town today? I met it on the old N6 heading towards Athlone from Moate at around lunchtime today.

    They need to put in a decent overhead shot of Athlone before letting us roam the streets.

    Does the car have Google branding on it. I saw a car driving around before with some contraption on top, wasn't sure if it was for google mapping or a simple loudspeaker!!! It was too far away!

    That's a left hand drive. Maybe a European plate, or just covered up. Like this one pictured in Dublin.

    I know the driver, havn't actually seen it though, His Mum lives in Monksland so expect to see it a lot around there............

    It was coming into Athlone via the motorway this morning around 7.30am/8am.
