    Hi all.

I'm looking for someone to run with on my Sunday LSR's, starting tomorrow, if possible. I'll be running 11 miles at a rather pedestrian 8:45 per mile pace.

I'm on the North Side of Cork so if anyone is interested/available give me a PM.:D

I can't believe there's no-one on this site that lives in Cork and doesn't need someone to run with. Are there no runners in Cork?

    Hi Colblimp,
there are (of course) plenty of runners in Cork.
However, alot of things might not be suitable for any possible running mate.
Personally speaking you ticked most of the boxes for me, but Northside of the city and 8:45/mile pace did not suit.
    Thanks for the offer though.

Why not post up your training plan - dates and routes- to a blog of some sort. Designate a meeting place and a time and if anyone is on for it they can join in.
There is a Cork guy doing something similar - starting from Rochestown Inn and up the railway line into town and back . His blog is at http://pathtocork.wordpress.com/ It is a free for all. He is going for a run and if you want to tag along, feel free to do so.
Sounds like that would suit you?

jesus i would love a running partner too but i live in the sticks , have a family so can only run early mornings or after 8pm and dont know if i could find another woman to run with , who runs as frequently as me, maybe a man would be more likely :(

I would be flexible on place to a certain extent and pace - if 8:45 is too slow I would be willing to go up to 7:45 per mile pace at a push but would prefer to keep it between 8 - 9:00 per mile. :D

In Cork too but not up to that distance.
Post what and when and see if people can make it. Otherwise do the lunchtime runs or join a club session. I am sure, since there are a few clubs in cork.

Otherwise get some one on a bike to tag along. Make sure they have a speedo and keep to it. :-)
