cheats on ds (GTA)

downloaded GTA Chinatown Wars, got the usual cheats in for more firepower, kickass weapons. i got busted and lost all the weapons, when i put back in the cheat to get me the weapons back, they don't come back. when i click to save progress it tells me that cheats are activated. where are my guns please and how do i get…

Its not a hard game.... you shouldn't need to cheat.
Check bins for guns or buy them.

Oh, and I wouldn't admit to downloading it either - piracy is frowned upon here.
