I've seen one consistently out compete most of the GSP's it trials with this past three or four years. They are a very showy dog with a great work ethic. Im a GSP man myself but quite fancy these. I suggest looking in the Irish shooters digest and ask the right questions of the buyer.

I know of one goin in Kilkenny. 14 month old and free to a good home. Never hunted yet and has no papers, but i'm assured he has the makings of a great dog. Not too sure if he is long or short haired. Just know he is a german pointer. If you want him let me know and i'll pass on contact info.

id try get a dead pheasant and get him interested in the smell!! even better bring him in to a pheasant bird sanctuary on a lead and let him see them and it should get him excited.
