Massive blow for munster, im devastated for the man, after feeling the elation of being selected for the Lions to the distress he must be feeling after this. He will end up spending the rest of his career wondering what could have been. Sport is a cruel cruel entity.

  • Horrible Swing.

From such a high to such a low.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for him thoguh.

O'Driscoll needs to be a support to him now having made the pitch briefly in the last tour and then being wiped out by "that tackle". TOL will need to be convinced that he's got the place on the next lions team, he just needs to get that ankle right and keep it. He has the chance to become the established scrum half of the greatest Irish team in history over the next 4 years, and can be the 1st choice scrum half for the next lions tour.

There's light at the end of the tunnel but it'll be very hard for TOL to see it this week, or this month. My heart goes out to the lad.

Absolutely terrible for him hardly had time for it to settle in and it will be taken away from him! It's a blow for Munster too but with Stringer there not a disaster!

Tomas O'Leary is a great story - it wasn't too long ago calling him a SH contradicted the trade's description act. But he has really turned his career around, and I've no doubt he'll bounce back, and regain his form. Even at this early stage, he looked a serious contender to start the tests. I'd take Dwayne Peel now because he is a world class SH on his day.
