    Hi all,
Just bought a sony kdl40v5500u lcd and it has applicast and dlna networking. Applicast are widgets link on a mac or vista, to add more or see the rss feeds on it i need to connect it to the internet.

I would like to know if i can use a usb stick synched to my router to connect, i dont have the stick yet. Any ideas, manual has no mention of doing it this way, only wired.
    Thanks

I presume you are wondering if you can connect a usb wifi adapter to the TV instead of an ethernet cable?

Unless the TV accepts ethernet over usb, I'd doubt it. What you can get (I think) is an ethernet - wifi adapter that plugs into the rj45 ethernet port on the tv and then goes wireless.
