Cheap Generic Glasses.

    Hey Guys,

    I myself am Myopic (-.75). For quite a while, I have seen cheap Reading glasses sold in many shops, in all different powers. Not once, though, have I seen cheap Myopia glasses. Anyone know why that is ? Even as emergencey glasses or whatever. Maybe they can't manufacture "generic" glasses for Myopia?

    Yeh, you can get reading ones in aldi/lidl even there recently so it is quite odd.

    Not sure of the reasoning behind it, maybe theres some legal thing by where you have to have a prescription?! Since some people would wear them quite often and that!

    It's actually illegal to supply the generic glasses for myopia so you wont actually find any for sale

    can get a free pair in an opticians if u have enough prsi or med card.
