Trinity Myths and Legends

I wonder if anyone can help me. I heard once that there were a lot of old laws and rituals still on the books in Trinity but that are not practiced anymore. I'm looking for somewhere where I can find a list of some funny myths and legends about the ancient laws of the college. I can't quite remember the ones I heard you see, something about knights and horses and swords.

Any bit of quirky info on the college would help, I'm doing a project :)

    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, all that stuff about shooting the pope with catholic babies, demanding pots of gold at exams and such was just made up by tour guides in the 70's. Most of the regulations are pretty boring in reality

wasn't there one about a student in the 80's getting up in the middle of a law exam and demanding a pint of guinness as his right per some ancient rule. they got him his pint and then fined him for not wearing a sword!

Also the tunnels underneath trinity with amazing wine cellers that only a select few can visit!

I've heard about the tunnels, but I'd be skeptical of any claims about the demanding of ale. Far as I know they revise their policies regularly. Wouldn't really do to still be operating ridiculously outdated rules mindlessly. They like to keep the lack of updating strictly to the card swipe machines around the place...

If you walk under the campanile as an undergrad you will fail your exams.

If you walk under it while the bell rings, you will die before the completion of your course.

However, if you have sex under the campanile as the bell rings you're guaranteed a first.

Someone once told me once that if you get Schols there is a particular day you can shoot some one in Front Square from some particular window around it... But I'm pretty sure that person was taking the Michael. :D

Sounds like a very confused version of this.
