We will be holding an information day for the Race Around Ireland on Saturday 2nd May from 10am to 3pm in Dublin City University (DCU). The day will cover every aspect of the race from preparation to completion.

Some of the subjects covered will be:

    Rules
    Route
    Strategies
    Logistics
    Sleep
    Training
    Nutrition

We will also be offering advice for crews and people who would like to volunteer with the organization.

DCU are also looking for some teams that may wish to take part in a research study that they will be undertaking during the Race. There will be information available on the day.

This is an excellent opportunity to really learn about the Race Around Ireland and will benefit racers, crew and volunteers. Whether you have registered or are finalising your decision, all are welcome.

On another note, the provisional rule book has been completed and will be available to download from the website in the next few days.

The site has also been updated with information about volunteering to help and the “Meet the Racers” page has info about some of the people who have entered.

Info day is to be held in the basement area of the Main Science Block containing the Schools of Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Nursing and Sports Science. This block is labeled "X" on campus maps. http://www.dcu.ie/

Use Collins Avenue entrance and you can park in the multi-storey car park labeled "F".

Hard to tell! We have a good few teams entered that haven't given us team names, just racer names. As far as i know Team Tiny Explosions are riding it. Are you?!

I'd love to, but getting married around that time so can't :)
Unless you wanna move the event forward a couple of weeks ;)
Best of luck with it, I hope it goes very well.
