    Verry basic question but here goes...How do I make a calcultion for currency exchange?
    I want to see what the rate of exchange on an item in Sterling to Euro when it was at .77

    multiply or divide the price by .77

    for up to date prices you can type "50 sterling in euro" into google

    Google will do a load of conversions, like 0.55 pounds in grams etc etc. Didnt know they did currency though.

    Thanks. Yeah I wanted to do a non up to date conversion. For my complaint letter showing historic evidence that the shops are ripping us off :)
