Living in Rome - any advice

I hope to move to Italy in the end of June and i'm spending hours trying to find a "www.daft.ie" equivalent to find accommodation as i'm only looking for a room to rent for a few months at a time - can any one help with that?

I don' t speak Italian but would hope to take classes/lessons over there and have a good working knowledge by the end of two months and hopefully get a job over there - no idea what i'd be doing but to get English speaking office work over there would be the dream!! Any ideas on this?

Thanks for this - just clicked on the English icon on the left of the page - hopefully this will sort me out!
