    Hi Guys,

Is adjusting this balance a simple job?

It can be a wee pain in the jocks.

Depends on if it has been done properly in the past. When i bought mine. Previous mechanics must have just tightened 1 side. E46 has 2 cables. Need to keep them level. Otherwise it ends up with wear on one side and becomes more unbalanced as time goes by.

I had to take off my wheels and adjust shoes while a mate adjusted cables inside.

Try adjusting the nuts evenly under the center console first. SMALL turns!

You may get a satisfactory result. But as stated depends on who was at it previously....:D
