Not the best car about by a long way. But if it's a to b transport you want it should be just fine. Not very safe if you have a tip either. If it was me, go a couple of years back and get a decent Focus/Fiesta/Corolla

I don't know much about cars but any idea why it's so cheap?

It's cheap because they are not great and not too expensive new.

Put up what you're looking for in a car, price, engine size, mileage, location and you'll get suggestions to help you;)

I'm a learner and I have a mazda 121 1.3 but its fairly dangerous, got it for free like. I just want as modern as I can get with power steering, smooth clutch and decent tires and wheels. Have say 4 grand to spend. Cheers lads.

ok, 4 k will defo get you something decent. Plus, dont trade your current car - you'll probably get a better deal with a cash discount.

You should be able to grab this for maybe 4.5k

Same as a VW Polo under the body, good cars in fairness.

Another good option is a Fiesta and this should fall close to budget

Accents are fine if you want to be the last car in traffic always

And an Accent isn't :D. As people have pointed out, have a look at the likes of that Fiesta. Far more modern and safer design and might be actually worth something come resale. Can't go wrong with a Fiesta imo.

Has to be in the top for slow-coaches holding up all the traffic along with the usual Micras/Almeras/Tiidas/Corrolla brigade. As well as knowing nothing about their cars these people don't know how to drive either.
