It's a baby only born monday night has gotten thinner. Don't know if it's been regected y the mother or if its not getting a vitamin but some help would be appreciated quickly as he doesn't look well or if someone has a number for a 24 hour vet around town or near by thanks.

That website is out of date now, only just seen this post. Hard to say what is wrong with the baby could be the runt of the litter or is being pushed away by siblings if you phoned around you should of been able to find a 24 hour vet in your area but there might be nothing they can do. Esp. if the vet hasn't any experience with guineas, it's very frustrating being a guinea pig owner when it comes to illness when it's so hard to find an experienced vet near by esp. in an emergency.

If the piggy is still alive you will need to syringe feed him I would say, he should also be eating a little food on his own as well, if he's not even eating on his own he could have an infection somewhere or something else wrong with him.

Fingers crossed you managed to find a vet.

Hi there is a brilliant guinea pig expert vet, she is based in Bray:
    Bairbre O'Malley -
    Veterinary Hospital,
    Kilmantain Place,
    Bray,
    Co. Wicklow
    Phone 01 272 3857

I don't know if you can get your pig there but please try if its not too late, hopefully your pig will be ok, good luck.
