    Hi,
In a x2 bed in the Court at the mo and I have the two separates (fridge and freezer).
Has anyone taken these out and installed a large one incl of freezer? I presume it would have to be placed opp where the fridge is now.
Just wondering if anyone has done this and what options I would have and of course the approx cost involved..
    Many thanks

Hi, I had this done prior to moving so I don't know what it would cost you, but my fridge/freezer is at the corner wall. I lost a bit of counter space but wouldn't trade it. It blends in and no one even notices unless I point it out. Hope this helps

I am in CWood 2 bed and installed a large American style fridge.

We put it just over the counter in the main dining area against the wall on the left side, (same side as the small freezer is) really is doesn't look out of place at all. It also means we have 2 freezers now and this comes in very handy. We left the old fridge but turned it off so now it is just a storage unit.

OK, we lost space in the dining area but overall it was a great move. No more bending down poking about in a little farty fridge.

    Thanks for the replies.
Firstin, thanks for that - I wouldn't have thought of putting it there. A large american style fridge sounds great but we have a large dresser so unfortunately spacewise it would be tight. 2 freezers sounds great, I can't cope with the small fridges anymore, there simply is no space!

i'm looking to replace my little fridge and freezer too, and replace them with presses like the rest of the kitchen or maybe 1 of them with a pull out larder.rang country kitchens who supplied the kitchens in court, for a quote. Supplied and fitted for Only 1150 for two presses, or 1750 if we wanted 1 larder. A bargain!

    Hi,
We removed our Fridge, from the corner and put the washing machine there. We then removed the freezer, cut the cuboard top away above where the freezer was and put in a tall Aluminium Fridge Freezer. We tiled the kitchen floor then we put in crome shelves with sliders where the washing machine was (next to old freezer space).
To cover the back of the fridge freezer which sticks up above the counter, we installed a glass brick wall on to the ledge, just around the new fridge freezer.

    Hi Jayg,
That sounds really interesting where you placed the fridge. I was wondering if you got the chance, if you pm me a picture so that I could visualise how it looks.

I was thinking of putting it in the corner directly opp the fridge. Ok - so you lose a press up and down but you could make up for it where the fridge and freezer are but noone seems to have gone for that...

Here are some pics. Its a bit of a squeeze so hard to get all in.

The washing machine was where thos shelves are with the microwave on top next to the fridge. The washing machine is now where the old fridge was in the corner.

Wow, that's fantastic - thank you for that! Really gives me an idea as to the space. It looks great, thanks a million.
