    Hi All
Don't know if this is the correct forum........

Basically, the last number of years I have been getting a prescription from the doctor for hayfever for:

    Neoclarityn tablets
    Rhinolast Nasal Spray
Nasocort Nasal Spray (before this I was prescribed Flicsonase(Sp) in a green bottle with a big green lid).

Does anyone know if there is any generic over the counter alternatives that I could get from the chemist containing the same ingredients as the above medicines?

    Thanks

You can get Flixonase over the counter. You should invest in a Neti pot too if you haven't already.

Usually if you ask a pharmacist they will be very helpful about giving you a generic brand if you ask directly. There are quite a few antihistamines and nasal steroids available over the counter. Some of the antihistamines certainly have generic versions eg zirtek/histek/cetirizine.
