Buying clothes off ebay

Recommended? I'm sure there's a good bit of money to be saved doing it this way but then again you don't get to actually try on the clothes prior to purchase. Just feel that the prices here are a little bit crazy and I can't be spending all that money.

Anyone know of decent sellers out there on ebay? Male here btw!

    Thanks.

I tend to stick to brands that I know, and whose sizing I know fits me. It's still a bit of a gamble, but on the whole I've been pleased with my eBay purchases.

    Hi,

I've bought a few bits and pieces from ebay, mainly dresses. Checking out seller feedback will give you a good idea of what they will be like to deal with. Most are stand-up sellers and I've gone back to some a couple of times because they've been so good but you will always get the few rotten apples. Using paypal when buying is a good way to go because they offer a dispute resolution thingy if a transaction goes bad. Doesn't apply to all sales but a lot.

It can be worth buying from ebay but it can also be a bit of false economy too as a lot of stuff on there is one or two seasons old. As you're a guy, I can't recommend any sellers but best of luck shopping! :D

If it's just for money saving I'd recommend ordering from the shops UK website where you can to avail of the sterling price which is much better value at the moment.

Ebay doesn't usually have new season clothes, it's mostly people selling their old clothes. I like ebay and bought a dress just this week, a designer brand but a few seasons old. There's loads of junk on there too and watch for the postage charges.

I buy clothes on ebay mainly from Per Una, Wallis and Principles where I know my sizes and have a good idea about current stock, prices etc.

Just keep eye on the Sellers feedback and check postage costs before you bid
