    Hi

I'm looking for a bass player, a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboardist who are able to spare 2 weeks in july and 2 weeks in august to teach kids at a summer rock school.

The scale will be teaching about 4 or 5 kids at a time for one hour sessions altogether totalling about 5 hours a day. You will keep them entertained by teaching them all about the music they're learning and by the end of the 2 weeks, record them playing a song. Ideally I need people who have experience teaching children.

Multi-instrument players are welcome. I need 4 people, each being able to bring and store their main instrument at the venue and switch instruments around if needed.

The focus will be on enjoying the music, and learning to appreciate it. Simple techniques will be covered according to levels of experience, but rhythm, basic theory, jamming and history will definitely be looked at. Since most of the children tend to be age 10 - 14 the music will be mainly pop/rock based.

Please pm me on this for more details or call me on 087 2187020.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks.

Where is this going to based? If it happens to be in the Galway area I would be interested.

Ah sorry forgot to say it'll be in Dublin, probably in a suburb of sotuh Dublin seeing as there's more chance of getting rooms in a school.

Fair enough, Dublin would be a bit far for me to travel. Best of luck anyway!

Unfortunately I'll be away for July otherwise I'd give it a go. Fantastic idea. Hope it works out well for you.

I'll know in a couple of weeks what August entails for me and I'll get back to you.
