should i buy a 1999 1.1L rover 200, with 67,000 miles, 4 owners and nct'd till january 2011? and the car is only €650. why is it so cheap for all that? i'm only 17 and i'm looking for my first car to get experience before i take my full licence test in about 7 months. I heard that the head gasket goes when the oil and coolant aren't checked regularly. i'm going to view it later on today, so any advice would be great.

posted this in the wrong place before so this 1 should be ok :)

Sounds ok to me, especially if the head gasket has been replaced recently.

If it has a full service history, you'll know the owner looked after the car. If not, be wary. It's a hit and miss, but at €600 euro for a car with two years NCT, it doesn't sound too bad. If the head was done recently, all the better.
