Sound Problems

    Hey not sure if this is the right place or not, but lately i seem to be having a problem with my sound, for example i can listen to i-tunes ok and everything, but i can't hear the sound on say youtube, or i can't hear the "click" sound when i click on a link for example.

    In recent times when its happened if i restart computer everything is grand - but obv this is not an ideal solutions - anyone know what is wrong and what i can do to fix it.

    If it helps i have a Sony Vaio VGN-AR61S
