That's pretty self explanitory to me, but anyhow...

Drive out the Dublin Road, past Merlin Park Hospital. Straight through first set of traffic lights at Galway Crystal.

Take left at next set of traffic lights (before roundabout)

Drive up Doughiska. When you pass the Centra shop/Hairdresser etc. place take the next left (you'll see a Londis on the Corner on the left - you need to turn in here)

Drive straight down the road you'll see the NCT on your right

The NCT centre is located exactly here (Google Maps). If you zoom out a bit you'll be able to see to the right/bottom where Doughiska Road meets the Dublin Road and to the left/top where it comes out directly behind the Briarhill shopping centre.

You assume I know where Merlin park hospital, galway crystal Centra shop/Hairdresser and Londis are. I know none of these.

Id say the map makes sense if you know where the center is.
