    Hi,

Ambition would of always been to use qualification to travel.
Has anyone heard experiences of accountans seeking to find work abroad in the current climate? Especially recently qualified.

Oz - seems to of tightened up significantly. Has anyone recently travelled & if so how long did it take to find work. Which part of country? ANy one know what jobs market in Melbourne is like at mo.

Caribbean - Has anyone heard stories of people finding work in the in the last couple months. Has anyone interviewed? Which islands. Caymans? Which recruitment firm could be recommended?

Aisa- Any got advice on best countries for getting work especially for english speakers.

Toughie planning international work in a global recession!

    Thanks for any advice received.

Recently qualified aca myself. No PQE exp. Being looking to do the travel thing.

Applied for a good few Cayman/Carribean jobs and responses were few and far between. (I'm non big4 which may be a hinderence here)

Oz seems to be a mixed bag. A few of my friends went to Sydney and found work very hard to come by. Some coming home/some sticking it out. In saying that I know a few who have gone to perth and have found work after about a month on average. (Although this is the busy time in oz as most company year ends are in June)

Heading to Canada myself next month on a flyier. I'll post an update from there if things are any way decent.

In any event things mite be a bit better when ur finished ur final exam. Hopefully!!
