Printer not recognising cartridges

    hi all
    not sure i have the correct forum,mods feel free to bounce it somewhere else!my HP Deskjet 2100 series has decided that there's a problem with my Black Ink cartridge....all of them!i had a small supply so have tried them and it won't accept any of them!!!it's driving me nuts, we only got the printer last september!any ideas?

    try turning off all warnings in the HP software, sometimes it see's a new cartridge as empty until you tell it not to, if you turn off this feature it might help

    Try to uninstall software, then reboot with new cartridges installed, and reinstall printer software - HP deskjet printers are poor anyway...
