STAR HK AG SA80 Underslung Grenade Launcher for L85A2.

As we all know the L85 is a heavy beast at the best of times. With the 'nade launcher on the front it's just a little too heavy for me. Thats why its here for sale.

As I want an original star front grip on my AEG I would be very interested in a front end trade (very easy opp for two star L83A2's) with a bit of cash my way for the difference.

It's one meen looking front end and will make a great addition to your arsenal. That and you can drop a bucket full for bb's on anyone you want with it (and a nade' of course)

Have to put a sale price on this so I think €150 collected is the money.

Less if you can swap with your Star L85A2 front end



Don't be put off by prices..................Lets do a deal.

I would prefer to do the swap thing as then I wouldn't have to go looking for all the bits and you wouldn't have a spare front end hanging around

Hay Vents, sorry if this seems like a Stupid Question, but what exact part are ya looking for??.,.. I have a R85 A1- blessed if I cant tell the differance between the L-R 85/86 A's B's and C's :-)

Not a stupid question at all buddie:D

I'm looking for the hand guard, slightly shorter outer barrel and all the bolts and bits from a star L85A2. The A1 hand guard had a problem with loading batts in and talking them out. the hand guard pins that hold the two half's together just break. The star A2 version doesn't use this system and is more reliable.

I think the Army Armament R85 has the same problem as the old A1 but I'm not sure. I don't think your front end would sit happy on a star anyway? Not sure though.

:pac: Just to clear a few things up.

the front end shown is what is up for sale/trade.

It is removed from the body by unscrewing four screws and gently sliding off over the inner barrel.

I found this ealier and nerarly got it, but I do need all the bits that go with it to make the full front end. To be honest I woudn't really be up for your offer of €30 plus a new hand gaurd as I think a second hand full front end swap with a little cash my way would suit both parties.

Just checking your front end is the Star front end ( Does not split in two but rather slides off the front) And your up for thge compleat front end swap with a bit of cash my way.

Hi the gun i have is a brand new army armament L85A1 im not sure if it is compatible but knowing airsoft 99% of them are. On mine it seems as if the barrel slides completely out of the top receiver. Would it be better if we sent each other better close up pictures of the fittings and what is needed?

Hi Alfieboo. Hav a look at the pics abouve. I would be willing to give the exchange a go in person. IE if the bits don't fit then we know. Where are you based?
