hypertext/ hyperlink simple question???!!!?!

    Hi all,

    This could be in the wrong place so sorry mods if so.

    I want to find out how to insert hypertext/ hyperlinks into my e docs...

    I had a look at utube and other sites but I have failed to make sense of it... I am pretty computer lit, every day usage, I know it has to be straight forward... pls help

    electronic documents.

    soft copy, emails, word documents etc...

    e docs, sorry if its a term that isnt widly used, i didnt mean to offend?!

    Hi Lost, thanks for the reply...

    I'm on windows xp so i guess word, powerpoint, excel, email and the like (& boards of course:D)

    Is there an application for it or some kind of promt before inserting a link?

    I have a feeling one of the icons on this reply panel will work for boards but i havent figured out which or how:mad:

    any chance of a bit of a few tips or guidence? Thanks:)

    it usually looks like this createlink.gif

    excel is insert -> createlink.gif

    same for all of office

    usually if you type in http://www.address.com (and press enter) it will create the link for you, should turn blue.
