You want what are called noise canceling headphones. There are a fair few available from various manufacturers. This site specialises in headphones, if you give it a browse i am sure will find some recommendations: http://www.head-fi.org/

What you really want is a decent pair of IEMs (in ear monitors).
The fit inside the ear as opposed to just resting on the outside
and they block out pretty much all external noise.

Have a look at Shure, Ultimate Ears or Etymotic.
All reviewed on head-fi as mentioned above.
