Minimum quality webcam required for Skype videocalls?

Has anyone any advice on what is the minimum resolution webcam that would be required to make videocalls through Skype worth the effort? I am looking for an entry level laptop and like this Toshiba model although at I’m not sure if the integrated webcam would be of good enough quality.

Minimum res shouldn't really be an issue. Even the worst integrated cam is usually at least 640x480, which is a plenty high res. Much higher and the internet connection (at both ends) becomes more important than the camera itself.

That's not a great Toshiba. If you want to get something off dabs, i'd add €100 to the budget and maybe look at some of those Lenovos eg:
