I taught JtaGGED was where a receiver was flashed with the wrong or corrupted software update??? Most commonly I have seen this with Fortec Star receivers....what kind of machine do u have??

Unless it's very expensive the JTAG work will cost more than the receiver.

I have JTAG HW & SW, but every Hardware needs different bootloader (CFE amy be similar in routers) as well as the firmware. If it's bricked due to a flash upgrade of firmware a new loader binary may be needed to.

If it wasn't in the middle of an upgrade, then JTAG won't help.

No power is usually a PSU HW fault, not Firmware related.

We need to know make and model and if ANYTHING happens when you turn it on.

    Power Supply fault. Not JTAG.

The Clicking coupled with Deadness confirms it.

Unless it's worth more than €300 (i.e. HDD/PVR, HD + HDMI etc) it's recycle centre time. Basic box costs under 50 Euro.
