    hi

i'm currently looking for a trainee job in a practice but no luck as of yet. i want to now get my backup plan sorted. im hoping to do the ACCA exams. i'm based in dublin.

i think i would go ahead and start my exams part-time in august. just wondering how many exams i should do+where i should do them? anyone know how much it costs to register with the acca, pay for exemptions and pay college fees?

also i have an exemptions question. ill have to send my transcripts off to scotland to get accreditation. anyone know how long this takes? ill be getting college exams around the 3rd week in june, will it be sorted in time to register for december exams?

    many thanks for any help

Normally, 2 or 3 is enough for each sitting. Where you do them is a personal call for you, the choices that I know of would include BPP, Independent College and Griffith College.

Not being smart but alll this info is on http://www.accaglobal.com/. The exemptions fees are usually the same as the relevant exam fee. The course fees depend on where you do the course obviously, theres not a huge difference between the different courses.

Will take a few weeks. Check the exemptions you have here on https://portal.accaglobal.com/accaweb/faces/page/public/accreditations/enquiry/main/EnqInstitutionsTable.jspx

I think the registration deadline for december exams is usually august but you'd need to know what your college course exempts you from first.

Register with ACCA ASAP - at least then you'll know you can take exams in December. You can sort out the exemptions after to see what exams you'll need to take. Good luck.
