Hey guys, was just wondering your opinion, thinking of upgrading my current set of 12 year old irons I inherited from my dad which due to a shed fire are lacking a 4,5 and 8 iron.
Thing is Im stuck for choice as Im limited to a budget thanks to being just 16 and the recession is upon us and all.
So looking through ebay Ive found
    Nike Nds irons
    Nike Sumo irons
    Nike Slingshot irons
All within my price range, cant find anything else(ah the woes of being left handed)
Im playing off 18,so any advice would help, cheers.

I'd always go 2nd hand if the budget is tight. However they aren't always easy to find.

Try to pick up a set of the better know makes (Mizuno, Titleist, Ping, Cleveland, Callaway, Cobra etc.). You should get a much better set of irons that way. Also learn how to regrip clubs and save some money that way also.

Keep an eye at this thread, http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055471100 on this very same forum, some nice deals at times from some of the lads posting here and watch adverts.ie too. But at the end of the day going to a professional maybe would be better as he might be able to find something to suit you better.

Be very carful buying clubs on ebay. A lot of fake clubs on the site. A lot better sites for buying golf clubs available.

Got mine off ebay and saved a chunk of cash.
Always good offers on last years models rather than going s/h but the budget is tight.

I bought cleveland hibores (I'm a high handicapper also) and they have knocked shots off my round.
