Has anybody seen or is planning to see this movie? When I first heard of a Star Trek prequel I immediately thought it would be rubbish, because most prequels are. I have recently read a review of it that says it is very good. Is this true?

Star Trek '90210' from what I've seen and heard. Leonard Nimoy has a brief cameo that may keep the die-hards happy, William Shatner was a bit miffed that he wasn't involved.

I would expect an effects-laden movie that will look very well, J.J. Abrams does normally come up with the goods. The younger set that have never experienced the old Star Trek will definitely enjoy it.
