Where can I get the perfect Ball Dress for this Fri ?

    Got invited to go to the UCD Ball this Fri, but still no clue on what to wear!!! :eek:
    Not really sure how formal it is, what people are gonna be wearing and time is running out. Know it's really last minute but how do you girls dress up when it comes to formal dances and balls? Where do you buy your dresses?
    link suggestions would be fab ;)

    The UCD ball isn't a ball in the traditional sense (more of a big open air piss up...) so there's no formal dress code, it's more like a festival-very casual. Everyone just wears normal stuff, some of the girls wear festival gear like wellies etc.

    If you are going to wear a dress make sure it's one you don't mind ruining as things can get pretty messy! Oh and definitely wear flats, traipsing around in heels isn't worth it. Sunglasses are a must too, even if it's not sunny :cool:

    Yeah I was at the UCD Ball last year, it was a stage in a car park with lots and lots of people staggering around drunk. Lots of shorts and ugg boots, not a dress in sight!

    the minute after posting this i actually got a call from a friend who informed me about it :o.. Kinda looking forward to this more!
