Problem when PDF'ing word documents

Not sure if this is the right place or not but I have a dilemma.

When I print a word document, the print always follows with an extra sheet including filename, template, editing time and a host of other file junk. It follows every single print from word. If I print 8 pages then I get 9 with the last made up of filename junk.

I also get this when I PDF a word document. Say I have a word document of 4 pages, then when I PDF it I end up with 5 pages. My 4 pages and then an extra one of file details.

I use vista by the way.

Anyone have any idea how to turn this off??

    Cheers

    Hmm, an odd problem

Try this, although it may not be the solution

Go to View, then to Header and Footer (don't know what it is in Vista, but it will be similar)

Go to Insert AutoText on the Header and Footer toolbar, then click Filename and Path - make sure it is not selected

I hope this works (although I doubt it will). Is it a Word-specific problem - is it happening with any other programs (meaning the problem could be with the printer software)

I tried what you said and that made no difference unfortunately.

I also tried to PDF an excel doc and that pdf'd fine so I presume it is just word docs that suffer from this problem.

Word 2003, click Tools ¦ Options..., selecting the 'Print' tab in the 'Options' dialog and clear the 'Document properties' checkbox under the 'Include with document' section.

Word 2007, click 'Word Options' ¦ Display ¦ Printing Options Section and clear the 'Print Document Properties' checkbox.
