Yes it does put him top. Well played Martin and looking good for the main event.

Hopefully some astute company will throw a sponsorship deal his way.

Then again Jude Ainsworth might be worth an investment.

Heck even Mr Curtis has had some impressive cashes recently.

[I've been drinking the water in Claregalway for several weeks now - but it's yet to have an effect. However I keep seeing images of the Holy Family.

He definitely reads boards. I think he is a rare poster at best but a familiar face around the country. A nicer guy couldn't run better imo.

Silkey just finished fourth in the £150 event of leg 9 of the GUKPT in Blackpool .
He won Aprox £3000 for his efforts but more importantly he will score another 20 point ( tbc ) and cement his overall lead of the GUKPT tour .

John Miller ,David Johnson , Sunny Chattha ,Richard Gryko , and Jeff Kimberhave all been making late surges trying to eat into his lead but with this score and with only two more events to go its going well for Martin ! fingers crossed for him and here's to him being the first " Paddy " to win the GUKPT league and to be crowned the GUKPT player of the year

    Nice one. GL Martin:D

Martin just came 3rd in the £250 PLO Omaha event at the GUKPT in Blackpool :D

    Another score ( £4,000 ) and more points ( 40 ) to cement his lead !!

    Thats £ 7,000 in 3 days and 74 points !!

The scoring of points seems to be favouring the homegrown ( UK ) players recently with players getting big points for pub leagues and online games ..... There have been a number of new contenders appearing all of a sudden !!!One might be a little bit paranoid that they don't want to see Silkey take the title  But if he keeps going the way he is he won't be beaten

You should ask him if he needs an agent.

    go on Silkey.

Silky is in the final of the heads up event against Richard Gryko, they are 1st and 2nd in the GUKPT rankings this could decide the winner of the player of the year.
