    not true, members of the private sector who are non resident ( but work in Ireland), Artists, sports people ect.

    Public sector do get taxed

    Seriously kid, if you represent the average Joe Public and think that the public sector get away with not paying taxes, no wonder it was hit so hard in the budget.

    Well when the Goverment is fireing everyone from the Public sector Maybe they dont care about the Tax you pay .thats why I asked .

    Thats because we pay more than the private sector. Go look up the numerous threads in this section about the pension levy and 1% levy.

    Kid, I wasn't trying to be a smartass but that was one of the stupidest questions ever posted. If you were anyway tuned into what was happening around the country recently you would of known that answer.

    I am tuned in . I see 1000,s of people in the public sector getting fired of unable to be promoted and I would like to know why.thats all and I thought that it was a tax reason but I must have been wrong .it doesn,t matter to me now Thanks bye
