AS said compaq evo n800c is not powering on. the charger is plugged in light is on (the one that signifies its plugged in). The battery light is orange.

This has happened once before I assumed it was the battery and took it out and back in again and it worked... this time no

Am i dealing with a dead battery or worse? does anyone knows of ways of testing?
