DIY bargains in Tesco

    Just been in Tesco in Omni Park in Santry and they're doing a great deal on DIY gear. Just bought a 4.8v rechargeable screwdriver for a fiver (down from 26 lids). They also have sanders and drills to beat the band all for around the 5-10 quid mark, and (possibly the best bargain) an electric jigsaw down from 40+ quid to a tenner. Obviously it's not Black & Decker quality, but I don't think you can go wrong really.
    Damn, now I'll have to go and do some work at home.

    Thanks OP. Just got cordless and wired hammer drill with bits (€3.75 each) and Pendulum jigsaw, all for just over €18.

    just went out to the tesco near me here in limerick, got a finishing sander for €7. that jig saw would have been a bargin but the sander was the only power tools on offer. thanks op.
