psp help

    Hey i was recently givin a second hand psp 3000, from what i can gather its a version 3.95, i had a old psp that a friend hacked and had emulators for psone and stuff, is it possible to be able to rip old psone games in the same way as i have a few of my favs lying round the house.

    What i need is info on what emulators to get etc, my friend who did it moved outta the country and i have tried finding stuff but finding it all very confusing any help will be greatly appreciated

    At the moment the PSP 3000 has not been cracked, so you can't hack it.

    There may be a hack exploit released for PSP-3000 running on FW 5.03 released in the next few days.
    In certainly won't be as straight forward as it is now on PSP-1000, 2000 series and will all depend on what FW is installed on the PSP.

    Ok i have managed to swap the 300 for a original running fw 2.71 can anyone give me advice or point me in the way of me being able to run psone games on it please, its all jargon to me or is there anyone here who does it for cash

    Umm what do you mean by this? The psp 3000 isnt hackable yet but i read in another forum that davey(a developer) is going to release something called HEN. Will try to look for that topic and update you on that ^^

    EDIT: just read the article again and it said that HEN will have no iso/cso support. However, you can still put homebrews/emulators (such as psone emulators to play psone games, i think). I really cant copy/paste the address coz my pc is turned off now (im only on my iphone). And unfortunately i dun have any idea how to modify a psp3000 ^^
