Looking for some advice/links/tips on getting a passenger ride around the 'Ring. I'm off to a town outside Cologne working for 3 days 5th-8th May and might as well take the following Friday off and head down to the Nurburgring seen as its only 60km away.

Anyway if anyone knows or has done it before I would love to know.

P.S. Dont mention the Ringtaxi either its booked up for ages.

Someone should give you a pax lap if you ask around. for the Ring Taxi, make sure to put your name down on the day-to-day wait list for no-shows or cancellations, it does happen a bit. What also happens is one person of three doesn't turn up, or a booking may have one seat free, so it's well worth a shot if you get there early.

On that day you mention, there is nothing scheduled publicly on friday, and saturday is TF from 1700-1930 and 1930-2100 is the Track walk. The track walk is great but usually only if you've gone around already.

If I were you, I would book a ring car for a few hours, and do the track walk.

If you ask on http://forum.nurburgring.org.uk/ who's planning on being there on the day, you might be able to convince somebody to give you a pax lap.
    Oh and pm sent. :P
