Vob Files

    Hi all,

I recently got an xbox 360 from my wife and in spite of myself I've got it streaming video and music from my pc.

    All sweet.

The only fly in the ointment is its refusal to play vob files. I'be backed-up allot of seminar dvd's (which normally come on easily scratched dvdr's) to vob so its a pit of a pain.

Any ideas or will it just not work.

    Many thanks
    Joe

360's wont play vobs, you'll have to reencode to avi.

    You could try using TVersity...
It will encode all your videos before streaming them to your XBox, effectively allowing you to play any format...

Tversity is crap to be honest! there's loads of files it won't play

PS3 media server is way better, i use it on the PS3 & 360 and it plays everything on both!

Miles better, try it! it's free also

I use tversity now but it won't play vob files at all, i'll give the ps3 media one a spin and get back
