Getting through to the VRO office? WTF?

I cleared my car back in October 2008, taxed it in December, got tax book in post that month. Anyway, after paying an arm and a leg to clear the dam yoke, they printed the following on the tax book:

    Make: Mini
    Model: Cooper

    It should read:

    Make: Mini
    Model: Cooper S.

Now before anyone asks, I DID pay the higher rate of VRT (Twice that of a cooper) as it is a cooper s and the printout i got on the day verifies this.

Anyway, my gripe is that I have been ringing the VRO office in Sligo almost every day since I cleared the car to get the issue sorted and not once have they answered the phone! I cant afford to take a day off work to go down to the stupid place  Does anyone have any other means of getting through apart from the main line?

Try the Dept of the Environment & Local Government in Shannon, they normally do logbook corrections.
