So the traffic lights were out at Malahide crossroads in the town center, all weekend.

And what happened, not a copper to be seen, despite the fact that the station is just around the corner. What were they all too busy handing out speeding tickets???

Well, I suppose where is the revenue generation in manning the traffic??

Let the dumbos crash and then do someone for dangerous driving.

    Policing at its finest.

What did they say when you rang them to report it?

    Good one.

When it is raining, people know they will get wet.

I think the traffic is running alot smoother without the lights! There are no delays and there's always that added excitment that you might get pulverised by a 40ft heading to town when you approach the intersection. I did in fact have a friendly debate with an A6 last night who decided that he was just going to close his eyes and go for it. We exchanged hand gestures and horn sounds, a very enjoyable evening altogether. I wouldnt get caught up in all the politics, just make to most of the freedom!
