    Hi,
I recently got digiweb Broadband and the got a wireless router, went this Belkin http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/6757340/c_1/1|cat_12160256|Wireless+networking|12160263/Trail/searchtext%3EWIRELESS.htm.

Ok so i set it up last night and worked well with the the wireless and tried it with another computer and all was good, but when i went to enter 192.168.2.1 (to config the router for security) i could not get in.

I think it could be something to do with when asked about the ip address, i was given choices for static, Dynamic, pppoe and another one i chose dynamic because when i was talking to someone from digiweb and they told me to pick an automatic ip address but because the option wasn't there i choose dynamic.

So Suppose my question is was i correct to do so and if i was how to i get into the router to config it,

oh also whenever i typed in ipconfig in the run command it would flash up for a second and then dissappear

please any help would be great

You could try resetting the router - there is usually a pinhole at the back where you can press in for a number of seconds and it will restore it to factory settings.

If you type "CMD" in the Start->RUN box
Then type "ipconfig" it wont just flash up.

Then find the IP of your gateway and type that into an IE address bar
