I skinned and gutted my first rabbit last Sat and did a good job for my first attempt.

One thing I did wrong was throw the skinned rabbit onto the grass before I popped him into the freezer bag.

When I went to wash him once I got home, he had grass stuck all over him...stuck as in super glue stuck. :o

Next time I'm going to try out this new method for sure.

    there s a faster way.
after gutting the rabbit hold the back legs with the bunnys back to you put ur knife in between the back legs and run it to the back of its head .

now open the skin and hold onto the back ,pull the skin over the back onto the legs cut on joints and neck ,
    30 seconds max.

have 4 of the little suckers in the pot

Just looking at the first video he seems to be gutting the rabbit at the same time as skining it. All he has left is the back legs and the meat that runs down the spine. The dog gets the front legs.

If that is true it's a very clean and quick way to dress a rabbit.

Lads as a boner thats spent 17 years boning beef, lamb, pork, horse, donkey and ostirich I can tell you the quickest way is not always the best way.

Take your time learn what your doing and learn the body of your animal. it's then you'll understand the best bits of meat, be it rabbit or deer and the best way to process them.

Don't be in such a hurry and learn the trade and the way thats best for you!

Don't be afraid to get in there and have a go and find your own way!!
