    Hey guys.

I bought a dart board for christmas there as its always been something thats interested me on tv etc. and I wanted to try my hand at it.

Now, Im beginning to get the hang of certain things, throwing it straight for one thing.. but i still am quite inconsistent.

    Basically Im wondering two things.
IS there a right way to hold/throw the dart?
What way should I be practicing ie. just aiming for the treble20?

realise Im kinda barging into a forum here, but any help would be appreciated cheers.:)

if your only starting just aim for the big 20. and don't just stick with the 20's go round the board get to know all the numbers. best way to start go hit three 20,19,18 etc. there is no right or wrong way to hold a dart, it will just come naturally everyone has a different throw. one Major thing is work on your doubles from the start double 20 is always a safe bet to start with and double 16. you will get plenty of help from everyone on this forum, if you can download no1 and dartspro there great practice games. hope this helps mate if you need anymore just pm me :D:D
