Skip to 3:40 and keep an eye on Impey in the yellow jersey at the very bottom of the picture, and Bos to his left.

The full picture isn't conclusive, i.e. you can't see what caused Bos' actions, but it looks very bad.

    replay in slow-motion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JMY68cS9gw

    From Daryl Impey website.
'I got taken down deliberately by Bos from Rabobank, you can even see it on youtube, only one word for him and that is a true chophead. He doesn't deserve to race anymore and I am thinking about going to the UCI about his dangerous riding. He tried to pass me 700m to go in the bunch sprint but there was no-where to go and all of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder pulling me into the barriers. We both crashed.'

    Translation of Bos' side:

Yea, I was watching that on euro sport when it happened - slack jawed amazement is all I could manage at it. I mean pulling down the yellow jersey in the last Km on the last stage - unbelieveable! Although Bos does sound like it was unintentional (still doesn't look like it though). It'll be interesting to see what will happen with it.

I think the slow-motion does indicate that Bos is already falling when he grabs Impey, doesn't look intentional to me. Stupid, but not intentional.

The pros' remarks on twitter are interesting. The consensus seems to be to give Theo Bos the benefit of the doubt as far as malicious intent goes, but to criticise him for having got into that position in the first place and for taking his hands off the bars in a sprint.

    For example:

Armstrong - "rewatched Bos crash 10x. Fences were uneven, sprint looked nervous/sketchy, but imo the hands should never come off the bars in a sprint."

McEwan - "Last word on Bos crash - INTENTION wasn't to crash DI or himself but he did. In the wrong, no question. If suspended 1 month, take it. Done"

Vande Velde - "I am giving Theo the benefit of the doubt. That, he didn't intend any malice towards DI." and "That said, Theo caused the crash, took his hands off the bars and put himself in that position. Some sort of penalty is in order."

if you look very closly the rider to impy's right hits him with his left leg that causes impey to veer on top of Theo Bos. Maybe Bos was going down and grapped impey to try and keep himelf upright.

Also does anyone else think the commentator is far from professional

There's another thread on this somewhere..........

However, to me it looks like he was trying to get some room and therefore push him out of the way. You see it all the time...... however this time.... it all went badly wrong.

if you notice as well barriers are all over the place, not in a straight line.
