bought a car in England recently and every window and wheel has the old reg scored on them for security.
Is there any way to get rid or cover this??
    Thanks for your help.

    Replace the windows.

Why do you want to get rid of the UK registration number?

Use a glass scratch repair kit.

as per the law, i had to register it in Eire within 24hours, hence new/different plates..
What about the alloy wheels? any fix for them?
    Thanks

No law against the windows or wheels - just leave them be and save yourself a few quid.

Windows - not much can be done
Wheels - someone like Collins Engineering in Bray may be able to refinish them. Expect to be wheel-less for maybe two days and to be hit for about 50 quid a wheel.
