Credit cards mean you can spend more than 100% of your disposable income on cycling. Hooray for credit cards

You've bought a good winter bike but its summer now. You still have a few quid for another bike.

You'll find that most bikes here are too good for their owners :)

Probably 120 - 130% of my disposable income goes on bike stuff (thanks Credit Card companies!), and yes, my bike is far too good for my abilities! (but the perfect colour!)

Yup, one of us, one of us!

I enjoy the odd beverage, trips to the cinema, plane tickets...pretty much everything else goes towards cycling. Some people might call that sad, thankfully not anyone on here (which is what really counts right??)

Beautiful bike btw, I would not feel guilty about that regardless of ability...kind of like dating Kelly Clarkson, I would be just showing her off.

I reckon bikes are a great thing to buy. It's an investment which you can maintain easily and provides not just for fitness, but recreation and transport. That said, I do tend to look for bargains and try to buy quality, not necessarily the most expensive. You can pick up excellent stuff second hand.

Mind you, that's also because I tend to have no money.

Ah, well my definition of an investment is that is makes you money which my bike certainly doesn't... but its still fun though.

I guess I only spend 50 or 60 euros a month on cycling.
I think that makes me a freak in this forum :/

Nice bike, bargain at €1,400 I reckon.

Good idea to come here to ask for advice for the remaining €4,200, we will have you sorted in no time.

Do you have a mountain bike? A fixie? As suggested, get some Zipps and stick the Eastons on the commuter. You just scored a set of free wheels for your commuter! Do you have a commuter yet?

    Good man.

I've always worked on the basis that my "savings" is the total amount left until I max out all my credit cards.

It's not called disposable income for nothing.
